1.8.2007 Tri-Nations Serie: Deutschland unterliegt Dänemark

Tri-Nations Länderspiel Runde 1 Samstag 28. Juli

9.7.2007 Australian Football Tri-Nations Serie:

Australian Football Tri-Nations Serie:
Deutschland 11.11 (77) Schweden 11.6 (72)

13.8.2004 Octoberfest Cup in Munich, October the 2nd
Gday fellow aussie football enthusiasts.

You are cordially invited to participate in this years Octoberfest cup taking place on October 2, 2004 in Munich Germany.
Teams will consist of 9 players per team, whether that be an already existing side or a composite side.
We have had a number of teams already notify us of their possible attendance and some who have confirmed their attendance. Those on this list who have already confimed their attendance could you please do so again in response to this email.
The urgent thing at present is that you organise your accommodation RIGHT AWAY. I sent an email out some time ago to get on with booking something and hopefully some of you have already done so as it is extremely tight for beds and only getting tighter and more expensive.
Some hotels , pensions have limited beds which you wont get for under 45 euros per person per night for a double room. The best and cheapest option is to book your accomodation at Riem horse track as they supply you with a tent for four people at 55 euros a night for the tent. It is 55 euros on friday and saturday night for the tent regardless of whether you have 1 or 4 people in the tent. they have only 40 places left for the weekend of the 1st/2nd october so youd beter hurry. Your best option is to pay for your team in total and any cancellation up to 14 days prior to the event will only cost 5 euros. There will be nothing cheaper in munich and hotel rooms pensions are only getting harder to get. BOOK NOW, and please confirm your attendance. The website is www.munich-oktoberfest.com/wiesnengl.html
There is no point confirming your possible attendance to the tournament only to find you cannot get accomodation. Please book your accommodation right away to avoid disappointment and once you have booked your accomodation then please advise us of your intention to participate in the 2004 Oktoberfest Cup.

If u have odd numbers wanting to share a tent please let me know and i will match spare numbers with one another to maximise the people who can share accommodation and minimise costs.

Further details of the cup will follow. At this stage most important information is as follows
- Teams of 9 (with unlimited bench)
- Round robin style tournament consisting of two pools (finals of two pools). Once again structure and length of games depending on number of entry teams
- Tournament to start at around 10 am October 2, 2004 amd finish saturday afternoon with barbeque and beer bar during presentations followed by direct transport to the octoberfest.
- All the footy (and drunken debauchery) you can manage to fit in within the 24/48 hour period that you´re here!!

If u have any other more immediate queries then please forward them to me, in the meantime get onto your accomodation and i will forward more detailed information of the competitions structure as i have a better idea of numbers.

By the way, this competition is to be mentioned on a couple of radio stations in Melbourne leading up to the event as we do a couple of radio interviews from Germany. We have also discussed the possibility of footage from the tournament to be replayed on next years footy show!!! Almost footy legends!!!!

Looking forward to hear from you all soon.

Regards

Julien Kann
